The Guam Contractors Association (GCA) is your “key” to the construction industry for building and civil construction contractors in Guam and the Pacific Rim. The Guam Contractor’s Association (GCA) is a non-profit corporation dedicated to promoting the common business interests of its member-contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, equipment leasers and other businesses related to the construction industry here on Guam and Micronesia. Its objectives are to improve the prestige of the industry by stimulating interest among its members to provide quality workmanship and safety consciousness in all aspects of the industry. To disseminate to its members, vital information relative to the construction industry on Guam and to strive for the prosperity of the construction industry that would best serve our community.

It is GCA’s sole & prime purpose to represent the industry to Government, major clients and relevant stakeholders by advocating for the industry at all levels of government. Leveraging these relationships has resulted in successfully influencing changes in legislation and the development of programs that impact our members’ bottom line.

The Guam Contractors Association functions as a regional association of construction contractors, design-builders, construction program managers, maintenance contractors, suppliers of products and services to the engineering and construction industry. GCA is an affiliate chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors Inc. (ABC) and members of the association participate in ABC national recognition programs like the Safety Training Evaluation Program (STEP), Excellence in Construction Awards, Accredited Quality Contractor, and National Excellence Award in Safety and others. GCA is also an Accredited Training Sponsor under the National Center for Construction Education and Research. Our Accredited Training Units includes the GCA Trades Academy in Guam, Northern Marianas Trades Institute in the CNMI and the Pohnpei State Government in the Federated States of Micronesia. GCA is recognized by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Safety Office as the training provider for the EM385-1-1 40-hour Construction Safety Workshop for Contractors.
